Il Battle of the Year è la più prestigiosa competizione di breakdance al mondo. Nato in Germania nel 1990 come evento locale, si è trasformato negli anni in una piattaforma internazionale con rappresentanze in più di 30 paesi dei cinque continenti ed un network di eventi che anticipano il consueto appuntamento finale che si svolge ogni anno in autunno.
Dal 2010 l’edizione italiana del Battle of the Year è prodotta da Realvibes, realtà specializzata nella produzione e promozione di iniziative legate all’universo street.
Per la finale di Roma è confermato il duo Mc RIDO & Dj URAGUN, mentre la giuria, sia per l’ultima Wild Card in programma alle ore 15:00 sia per l’evento principale in programma alle 20:30 sarà affidata a BRUCE WAYNE (Total Feeling, Francia), TOMI (Legacy Crew, Slovenia) e YAIO (Ormus Force, Italia).
